SIPO’s High-Ranking Delegation visit to NOIP

On the way home from Brunei after attending the ASEAN - China High Level Conference on Intellectual Property, the High-Ranking Delegation of the State IP Office of China (SIPO), led by Deputy Commissioner XIAO Xingwei, stopped and visited the National Office of Intellectual Property Viet Nam (NOIP) from 21 to 23 March 2011. Deputy Director General Dr. Pham Phi Anh received the Delegation on behalf of NOIP’s leadership. At the meeting between the Delegation and NOIP, the two sides exchanged, updated information on the latest developments of the national IP system of each country as well as reviewed and evaluated
results of bilateral cooperation between the two offices during the past years. Deputy Director General Pham Phi Anh expressed NOIP’s appreciation and gratitude for the precious and effective support that SIPO rendered to Viet Nam over the past years.
Deputy Commissioner XIAO Xingwei expressed his sincere thanks to NOIP for all the arrangements and warm hospitality offered to the Delegation and indicated his satisfaction with the results of cooperation with NOIP during the past years.Deputy Commissioner XIAO also emphasized the importance, the role and position of the ASEAN region and Viet Nam in external relation policy of China in general and SIPO in particular and reaffirmed SIPO’s commitment to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with NOIP.
